• Minor penalties are two minutes. Major penalties are five minutes. Misconduct penalties are 10 minutes. Any player who receives three penalties of any kind in a game is ejected from the remainder of that game.
  • Any major penalty where a 2 minute and a 10-minute misconducts are assessed, the player’s 10-minute misconduct will not start until the 2 minute is served. That player will sit a minimum of 12 minutes.
  • All major penalties are subject to a game misconduct. On-ice officials reserve the right to determine whether a game misconduct is assessed based on the intent and severity of the infraction.
  • Zero tolerance of any fighting or major display of unsportsmanlike conduct towards any player, on-ice official, off-ice official, or score keeper. Any player who receives a “fighting major” will be ejected from the remainder of tournament play.
  • If a player is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol while playing in a game, the player may be ejected for the remainder of that game. On-ice officials, tournament directors(s) and/or arena management will make all determinations regarding this rule. Any inappropriate alcohol use by players or team officials may also result in ejection from tournament play.
  • Checking is not permitted at any level of tournament play.
